What is IRC?
IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat". It was originally written by Jarkko Oikarinen in 1988. Since starting in Finland, it has been used in over 60 countries around the world. IRC is a multi-user chat system, where people meet on "channels" (rooms, virtual places, usually with a certain topic of conversation) to talk in groups, or privately. There is no restriction to the number of people that can participate in a given discussion, or the number of channels that can be formed on IRC.

Simplified version of the guide:
1. Download it
2. Install it
3. Run it
4. Press ALT+R ("mIRC Script Editor" should appear)
5. Copy this: on *:start: { server irc.swiftirc.net -j #ce }
6. Paste it to mIRC Script Editor
7. Press OK
8. Restart mIRC
9. Done!

If you need help, type: /server -m irc.quakenet.org -j #clan_europe

dazus now that my 30 days trail has run out i dont seem to be able to join a channel.

when i connect to the server and type #clan_europe lamppupuu isnt it ment to join me to the server ? because its just saying im not on a channel.

help please

i use ss irc but at the beginning type /server irc.nitrousirc.net so i can talk on heart forums =(
